Day trip to Colchester

On the Train

We began our day trip to Colchester with a train ride from the Liverpool Street Station in London to the Colchester station. As it turned out, the "Colchester Town" station would have been better.

Statue of Boudicca

Boudicca was a woman who was a chief of the Iceni tribe and lead a revolt against the Romans which lasted several months. Following Boudicca, the Iceni burned Londinium (London), Verulamium (St. Albans), and Camulodunum (Colchester).
