While I was in Las Vegas, I saw signs that said that one of my favorite celebrity chefs, Giada De Laurentiis, was going to be doing a book signing on Friday. Fortunately, the job I was doing was finished in time so that I could attend the signing. I went to the kitchen store that she was going to be at, and bought one of her books, which gave me a ticket to attend the signing. I went back well before the appointed time and after waiting in line, I got to meet her and get her signature on the book. Beautiful woman and very gracious. They wouldn't allow us to use the flash on our cameras, but I got some photos after she signed my copy of her book.
