- Beltane Farm
Beltane Farm makes a variety of artisanal, farmstead goat milk cheese on our farm in Lebanon, Connecticut. Although our award winning fresh Chevre is our most popular cheese, we also make a number of fine French style ripened cheeses as well as Feta. Our Oberhasli, La Mancha and Saanen goats are milked twice daily and provide the milk for our cheese. Our goat milk and cheeses are available at many weekly farmers' markets within Connecticut during the spring, summer and fall and at a number of retail outlets throughout the state. During the spring and the fall, we also have cheese tastings right at the farm. The cheese tastings provide an opportunity to sample our seasonal selections and to meet the goats, cheese makers, and Nestor the donkey as well as other members of our farm family.Address: 59 Taylor Bridge Road, Lebanon, Connecticut 06249

The Garlic Farm sells great tasting, pesticide-free, freshly harvested vegetables directly to consumers from its barn in the historic farming valley of West Granby, Connecticut, just a few miles up route 20 from the town center of Granby. Though the farm takes its name from the crop that was the original speciality, they now devote just as many acres to tomatoes and peppers as to the garlic. They grow a full line of the most popular summer vegetables, raised according to the guidelines of the Northeast Organic Farming Association. The farm specializes in tomatoes, peppers, and, of course, onions & garlic & related alliums, including leeks and shallots—all sold directly to the public from the farm and now at one nearby farmers' market.
