Wine-searcher.com has sifted through a database of more than 42,910 prices lists, totalling almost 6 million wine offers, to come up with a list of the most expensive wines in the world based on the average price of a standard bottle (750ml).

Personally, I am more interested in the best tasting wines than the most expensive. High prices don’t always reflect the best tasting.
